BAM is a novelist from Houston, TX currently living in Japan. Over one hundred of his stories are available online with four different pen names. Shelly Macaroy is the most well-known pseudonym, which is used for horror short stories and a few other works. Macaroy is a side character in his forthcoming novel, “Diaries of Karma.”
DOK was a finalist in the Writers’ League of Texas Manuscript Competition in 2014 and won the WildSound Log Line and Manuscript Competition the following year. As prize for his win an actor read the first chapter, which you can view here.
BAM’s focuses are his novels, teaching English, and assisting other writers with their projects.

BAM is currently working on three projects:
- “Milhama,” Hebrew for War, is his grandmother’s memoir fused with an inspired fictional romance.
- “Karma Trilogy” is a thriller/suspense about an assassin, a psychologist, and advertising agent. Each novel is told by a different ghost.
- “Demon Blade Bearer” is a five-part fantasy saga about soul mates fighting bloodthirsty demons called Wish Oni.
